"For God so loved the world,
He gave his only begotten Son;
that whosoever believes in him
shall not perish, but have
everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
God loves all of us and does not want us to be separated from Him. He does not
want us to have to go through the "second death." So he sent us his Son,
Jesus Christ. Jesus came to the earth for one purpose...to pay the price for our sins. Jesus is the "miracle cure" that allows God to get rid of the infection of sin
without having to cut off pieces of His body to do it.
