Man has been separated from God because of sin. All of man's best efforts to fix this relationship have failed. People continue to sin no matter how hard they try not to. Sacrifices, prayers, fasting and meditation have all been tried. Although all these things will help a person focus on God, they have no effect in removing sin. God, being righteous and Holy, cannot bear to even look upon sin. As long as sin remains, the separation remains. This separation from God causes man to be condemned for eternity in Hell. The price for sin must be paid!
